Overdraft Protection

Accidents happen. When the occasional oversight or unexpected expense occurs, overdraft protection is a low-cost feature to save you from financial trouble.

Overdraft protection comes in three forms:

For members with fair to good credit, we offer Personal Access Lines (PALs) as overdraft protection on your Central One checking accounts.

Safe Deposit Boxes

All Central One full-service branches except Saint Vincent Hospital Branch offer safe deposit box rentals for members.

Safe Deposit Box Hours:
• M-W 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM
• Th 8:30 AM - 5:15 PM
• F 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM
• Saturday 8:30 AM - 11:45 AM.

Foreign Currency Exchange

Are you traveling soon and need foreign currency? We understand that our members may require this service before traveling abroad. Although Central One does not currently offer foreign currency exchange services, we can refer you to Currency Exchange International (CXI), one of North America's leading foreign exchange providers, to purchase foreign currency exchange and mail it to your home.

Visa Gift Cards

Whether it's for you or for a gift, a pre-paid Visa gift card can be a safe alternative to cash. Pre-paid Visa gift cards come with many of the same protections found on a traditional Visa card. Visit your local branch to order a Visa gift card.

Central One Federal Credit Union borrowers can purchase Loss of Life, Disability, and involuntary unemployment security protection on their Central One loan accounts. Call 800-527-1017 to learn more.

Notary Public

Central One Federal Credit Union offers notary services free of charge for our members. Notaries act as impartial third-parties to verify the identity and willingness of a document signer.

Please call the branch ahead of time to ensure a notary will be available.

Important: Notarizing a document is not a Medallion Stamp or Signature Guarantee.

Medallion Stamp Signature Guarantee

This is a special signature guarantee for the transfer of securities only and must be completed by an authorized branch associate. This service is available by appointment only for established members. Please call your local branch for details on limitations, required documentation, and to schedule an appointment.

    2  This is not a line of credit but simply a method of electronically transferring funds from your Savings Accounts to cover any overdraft checks. If there are not sufficient funds in the savings account the checks will not clear and will be declared as non-sufficient funds in the account.

     

    3 Member Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, be a member in good standing with an account open for at least 180 days and have no more than two 30-day late loan payments or one 60-day late payment in the last 24 months. Central One reserves the right to deny payment.
